Apex Die Wins Three FSEA Gold Leaf Awards

May 7, 2012 - San Carlos, CA – Apex Die Corporation, one of Northern California's leading post press finishing companies specializing in packaging applications, announced today it recently won three awards in the 2011 Gold Leaf Awards competition held by the FSEA (Foil & Specialty Effects Association). Winners were announced last month, at an awards banquet during the 2012 FSEA·IADD Joint Conference in Las Vegas.

Apex Die received a Gold award in the Presentation Folder category and Bronze awards in two different categories: Book Cover/Jacket, and Decorative Diecutting with Foil Stamping & Embossing. Entries were judged on design, execution, and level of difficulty. Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes were awarded in 28 categories. Competition winners will be highlighted in FSEA promotional campaigns, in InsideFinishing magazine and other trade publications, on FSEA's website, and at industry events throughout 2012.

The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) is a trade association representing finishing, printing, folding carton, greeting card, and binding companies across the country. The Gold Leaf Awards, held every year by the FSEA, recognizes and rewards graphic arts companies that use foil stamping, embossing, and other specialty effects to create outstanding finished products.
