Marketing kits, POP (point-of-purchase) displays and multimedia packaging solutions can be more effective with the right combination of graphic design, manufacturing processes and material selection. At Apex Die, we offer an attractive blend of creative ideas and manufacturing capabilities to help you bridge the gap between exciting concepts and performance-oriented products. Regardless of your specific goals, let Apex Die help you attract the brand attention you crave.
Today, we'll touch on two manufacturing processes that can contribute a lot to generating eye appeal and buyer desire.
Foil Stamping & Embossing
Foil stamping at Apex Die is far more than just gold or silver. We have hundreds of foils available in many different foil "families" including metallics, pearlescents, neons, wood grains, stone grains, holographics, clears and smokes. Foil's rich appearance and light refracting capabilities cannot be matched by ink alone.
Whereas foil adds shimmer and shine, complementary embossing services add texture and depth. If properly used as a design element, "blind" embossing (not registered to any image) is subtle, yet beautiful. Registered embossing to either print or foil enhances and helps define an intended image. Used separately or together, foil stamping and embossing processes help garner attention at point of purchase or whenever you need it most.
UV Coating – Ultraviolet (UV) coating is a high-gloss finish that helps images appear to leap off a product's surface. Flood UV coating helps protect and increase longevity. Spot UV coating allows you to highlight specific images.
The selling power of UV coating? A well-printed and spot UV coated image of an apple, for example, may look so good that someone might try to take a bite. But they shouldn't.
